How long you had it? Send it back to them. Say you'd expect more from
their company.

I wrote and complained about a Magimix after a couple of months. It
didn't break, I just thought it didn't work very well. They said take it
back to the shop and get your money back. I did. The shop didn't even
want to see the letter.
