Default Need Advice - New home question

I'm completing building a home this month and my realestate agent
suggested we get a home inspection. We do get a 1 year warranty on the
home. Does this make sense ?

Yep. It's a good idea to get an inspection so that you've got an idea of
what may need replacing in the near future. Home warrentees are great, but
they have a vested interest in repairing things cheaply for the short term,
not replacing or repairing for the long-term. A home inspection is
relatively cheap (a couple of hundred bucks, probably) and you'll know what
you're buying, basically.
