I also use night pens and guard animals. In
combination
we have nearly zero predator losses. Montana
weather
has killed more of our stock than coyotes, but
bigger flocks
that utilize larger area have bigger problems
and coyotes
are the #1 problem to them.

I believe that some of the small hobby farmers
here in Australia are using lamas as guardian
animals for their sheep and goat herds. Apparently
a lama will kick seven shades of crap out of a
dingo or any other dog that gets too close to the
herd.
