This isn't better. The way most people use rooms, the power
hungry equipment tends to clump together, so you want
as many DIFFERENT legs accessible at each power-access-point
as you can conveniently manage.

unswitched outlets in the box.


Ok, that I like. Quad boxes, 2 outlets on one phase, one on the
other, and the last on the second phase, but switched. MARK
them.
