Default Whoever wanted that 24VDC, 500W power supply

Yes, that's an AC UPS, not a DC power supply. The chargers
typically maintain a float voltage and trickle-charge the
batteries. This one is designed to go on-line when the power
drops out, and the batteries supply all the current. The
rest of the time it's just passing on AC from the line and
generating enough DC to charge the batteries and operate the
logic circuits.

Thanks for your response.
At first blush, this looks like a trickle charger. I don't know enough
about it to say if it would work an on demand power source for a 400
watt, 24v dc motor. Maybe someone with knowledge about these things
here on RCM can give their opinion if it would work for that purpose.
What think?
