Default Installing Drawer slides?

Can anyone point me to a GOOD book

Web is useless too many folks trying
to sell the slides and no advice.

A book might give good advice, but installation depends on the style of
cabinet and slides. We had new doors, drawers, hardware and cabinet
faces put on our old cabinets. The drawer hardware has no visible brand
name, but looks simple to install. Hardware is enamel metal with nylon
rollers. Hardware sits on bottom side edges of drawer, and along bottom
of opening on the cabinet side.

As it turned out, two drawers (out of 11) were a tad too narrow and
didn't track right. Corrected that easily by putting a couple of small
metal washers behind the cabinet part of the slide to bring it closer
and narrow the opening. Work great, smoothe, sturdy.

Decent hardware should come with clear instructions and/or templates
where indicated. Have you done a google search on the brand you are
considering?

I found a couple of websites, looking for something else, that might be
helpful. Rockler sells a lot of cabinet stuff, including Accuride cab.
hardware - good websites, sample instructions for one style of slides:

I once had cabinets with center-mount glides - worked nicely but
installed with staples! Kids used the drawers to climb on and pulled
glides loose ) They don't do it any more )
