What are you going to do when you need a new set of tires for the car? Get
used ones???

Personally, I'd just live with it, as long as the window still works on
the other switch. Eventually, you'll access a cheap replacement.
Unless you're planning to sell the vehicle soon, you've got time.

If it's that important to make that window work as designed *right now*,
then pay the money, get the switch.

Before you install, however, make damn sure there was no other fault
which destroyed the first one...or you'll be back where you started.
