direct job, or just going to the bank (indirect)

How do you reconcile whats being put into the computer, as to whats on
the speedo. Or do you assume that whatever the mismatch is at the end
of the year must be private mileage.

As the tax man needs to know how much of a car is private mileage.

...essential to any business where you need to travel that is ;-) In my
company we just treat travel as a line item with a value per mile. If we
need to charge 10 miles travel then that's 10 off at however many pence per
mile.
