1. RoundUp et al only kill what they contact

2. New seeds will sprout

3. There are chemicals which will sterilize the ground but I don't think
they are available to home owners.

4. If your driveway gets lots of sun you could cover it with black
plastic for a few days...that will kill most all including seeds.
