As you can't German (I guess) here some words to get a bit of
orientation in the text and formulas:

Nocken = lobe
gekrümmt = curved
Stössel = lifter (roller)
Kipphebel = rocker arm
Erhebung = lift
Gewschwindigkeit = speed
Beschleunigung = acceleration
Winkel = angle
Kreis = circle
Kreisbogen = partial circle
hohl = concave
eben (ebene) = flat
gewölbt = curved (round)
Ventil = valve
