I noticed one of the DIY network dames spreading glue with a wood
chisel. I thought that was pretty odd...

Being an old house framer and remodeler I am just now discovering glue.
Works pretty good! That tells you I am a bit behind in the fine
woodwork department.

But I am really enjoying learning.
