Safest place is in a front pocket IIRC.

Inside pocket in a zipped-up windbreaker.

Might try a "dummy" (bait) wallet in a hip pocket ...


Always do in high risk situations (more for potential muggings than
pickpockets). Never needed it yet, but someday..

$100 or so in small bills, other useless pocket litter, a few expired
cards etc.
