Hi steamer

Steamer I don't know where you live but a pine wood or spruce is very
likely, turpentine is made from yellow pine, Balsam Fir also has a lot
of resin in it, the bleu/grey color would be blue stain or fungus, very
prevalent in softwoods, just an educated guess.
