And here we come into the realm of the 'other' amendment.

In the US it is generally considered that ideas, thoughts,
proposals, and politics (yes, specifically politics) are
NOT the same thing as actions.

That the law regulates actions, not words, and that these,
and ideas, can be freely traded and propogated in as free
a fashion as possible. This is one reason why I personally
disagree with any attack on the first amendment rights,
such as the ones going on by the present adminstration.

Because ironically in the end those would diminsh the rights
of folks like gunner to stand up on his soapbox and say,
well - to say whatever he wishes.

You sir have it wrong. The real danger to society is not
at the muzzle of a gun. It's at the tip of a censor's pen.
