Default wall mount sink

This is the way a lot of sinks were mounted years ago. I still have one in a
powder room that was installed in 1959. If the wall is secure, it should not
fall. If it breaks, then it was cheaply made.

I am about to install a wall mount sink I just got:

anId=10824&prodId=160425#aboutProd).

The thing weighs about ~35lbs, i think. Anyway, it comes with two lag
bolts, and some plastic discs with bolts to secure it to the wall. I
have to think this is enough, but just looking at it, it seems that two
"small" bolts (however big they are) on the two holes just isnt enough.
I would think the manufacturer would give me a proper way to mount it,
but then again, this thing was made in Italy, and who knows what goes on
over there. Maybe they expect the use of the plumbing for extra support?

I am putting it up against a tile wall, much like in that picture.
Behind the area I got a 2x8 in between two 2x6 studs. Do they put extra
support insde the ceramic of the sink? I am not really worried about the
wall, but I just have this bad idea that the sink will break
eventually, but then again I have no idea what the intrinsic strength of
ceramic is.

Any other suggestions? I was thinking any type of mild glue (even glue
gun glue) might spread the stress out, but then glue can create a gap,
and maybe the stress IS all supposed to stay where the bolts are.

any thoughts?
