I think it depends on the person. If you enjoy working as a mechanic,
enjoy army life and are fairly easy going, you should be fine. But if
your opposition to the war is passionate, so that it dominates your
thoughts and overpowers your other feelings, you might have a problem.
It's up to you to decide.
