Chlorine gas is WWI Mustard Gas. Very nasty stuff indeed.

Both chlorine and mustard were used as war gasses, but they are not
the same. Mustard is a blister agent, where chlorine is a choking
agent. Other types of agents are blood agents like phosgene and
hydrogen cyanide (and carbon monoxide) and nerve agents like sarin.
The nerve agents, developed after WWI, are by far the most deadly.
