Default Question on Carbon Monoxide gas

Interestingly this is absolutely untrue.

CO poisioning exhibits itself as nail beds, lips, etc as being
bright cherry red.

Carboxyhemolglogin is every bit as red as the oxygenated
variety - even more so.

In fact this is a strong indicator of CO exposure.
