many Bosch, Makita, etc. tools are also Chinese in origin.

Go on then, amuse us by telling us all where this Johnson motor
is made.


Could be one of many places, Johnson is a global company. It's
possible that these motors are made in China, where a load of
Bosch and Makita stuff is also made.
