Listen, the media does the same stuff with this sort of thing that they
do with the weather when there's a snow storm coming. They exaggerate
because a) there're no repercussions so it doesn't hurt them and b) it
keeps people watching/reading to see what the latest "news" is - which
gets eyeballs on their adds and boosts their revenue.

Don't believe everything you read/see/hear. That includes this post.

Perhaps the media was trying to INCITE riots so they would have more juicy
news to report?
