Just don't use a laser to cut lexan...

You can cut polycarbonate (generic name for Lexan) with woodworking
tools.

Polycarbonate is not Lexan is not polycarbonate.

Well that would certainly be news to GE. They manufacture Lexan and sell it
as polycarbonate.
