How about getting your daughter to give you your present a little early? It
seems like a real waste to be buying a pretty good die grinder as a stepping
stone to a very good die grinder.

BTW, if it means anything here, I am VERY satisfied with my Proxxon. Unlike
many of the other brands, it uses an adjustable chuck, rather than a series
of collets. That is SO MUCH more convenient.
