Default Fast drying with no microwave?

Hello George and Ralph,

I have no interest in debating the subject at all. Regardless of what all
of the
scientists say, Dave Smith's process does work as he and others have
indicated
and as my wife and I have also found it to work. It may be impossible from
a
scientific point of view, but scientists have been wrong before. I offered
the
idea to help the fellow who didn't have a microwave and needed to dry his
wood
quickly. I do not wish to debate whether it will work, I know it works.

No debate whatsoever, Fred, since it works if you neglect the soak. Can
hardly do worse (or better) with it.

It's also beyond debate that your "reasons" why it works are invalid, which
is what I detailed.

Best advice is to concentrate on the methods that are scientifically
alid - control of RH to avoid steep gradients between interior and surface.
