Just one: WD-40 is not a lubricant, was not designed to be, but
persists in being used as one despite the honest efforts of the company.

AutoZone has spray cans of lithium grease. It's the greatest
stuff for window channels, hood hinges, door hinges, squeaky
bi/tricycles, etc. SuperLube is another great lube with teflon.
I found it semi-locally at Lowes.

Sequence: WD to free it up, spray lithium to lube it.
