For the first time,I have ant hills in my yard, 3 within 10 feet of my
front door**. Is this something I don't want? I have a feeling that
I don't.

If I don't want them, is there an effective, perhaps easy way to get
rid of them?

** (or maybe one big hill with three entrances)
