Best to try and see if the lumpy and bolster works first.

If particularly stubborn you could use an flat SDS bolster type chisel
or chipping hammer with bolster etc. This will probably destroy most of
the tiles though, if that is a concern.

I removed some with a chipping hammer a few years back because they were
/amazingly/ well stuck on.
