A pro for you may be a con for me. So much depends on your life style.
I've lived in both and much prefer my privacy. I like my neighbors but they
are even nicer with a couple hundred feet of space between us. Maybe when
I'm very old and in poor health I'd want a smaller house with less
maintenance.
