Default flexible pipes buried in wall

Hi

I am looking at fitting a semi-pedestal basin on an external wall of an
en-suite- it would make life much easier if I could use the braided nylon
type connectors chased into the plaster/blockwork and connected below
floorboards.

Is there any reason why not?

Do they come in a length long enough to go from the tap to under the
floor?

If I was short on entirely proper tools I'd tend to use the
soft-copper-with-bendy-bits lengths to achieve this, along with
Yorkshire joints to get the main length in the wall.

Yes, the existing basin is supplied via these flexible connectors approx
900mm long that I was hoping to retain, but have now decided to replace with
copper as suggested.

Thanks to all for replies.
