FS: Mini Max T-124 Copy Lathe
Mini Max T-124 copy lathe for sale in eastern PA. Excellent condition, barely used. I bought this machine from someone else who hardly used it. I have not really used it at all except to ascertain that everything works properly. The job for which I bought it fell through, and I do not need three lathes. Specifications: 1.8 HP motor, 4 speed stepped pulley system. 47" between centers, 43" with the copier attached, 16" swing. The lathe has two knives, a roughing knife and a pattern knife. I have upgraded the pattern knife to the new version, and both the older and newer knives are included. A traveling steady rest keeps the work steady during cutting. Accessories include a 10" tool rest for freehand turning, spur and live centers, and a faceplate. This lathe weighs 600 lbs and is an excellent choice for production spindle work. It will also turn bowls up to 16" in diameter. Pictures available upon request. This lathe sells for $3800 new. I am asking $2500. I prefer that the buyer picks it up, but delivery within a reasonable distance can be arranged.
