This is Turtle.

i'm kind of at a disadvantage here for i sell mostly commercial carrier
equipment and have sold a few payne but i have a fair ideal of their
differences.

if carrier is not wanting to try something new out. the two of them will be the
same. if carrier want to try something new out and see if it works. it will be
on a Payne and if it works out. they will put it on the Carrier.

Copper tubes or Alumium tubes on the coils. Commercailly all Carrier / Payne
are copper tubes and Alumium fines. Now residentiually i don't know. now i will
say this day and time with all the advancers in design of coils. I will say it
would make very little difference now a days. Now 20 years ago i would not have
a alumium coil at all for the trouble that came with them.

Quality of a Carrier verses a Payne. If you have a good installer --- i would
not care which one i bought.
