DC Canister question

Looking to add a small dust collector (800-100 CFM of 1 - 1.5 HP) (Grizly
or Penn State). Looks for recommendations on their .5 micron canister
(cleans with compressed air) vs their 1 micron canister (cleans with
internal flaps).

Will the lack of internal flaps make the .5 micron canister harder to
clean? Will compressed air clean as well or make a big dust mess?

Thoughts?

TIA

Don
