Instructions state output thread is 3/4 x 16. Ordered a 4-jaw chuck that will
not seat tight. Measured lathe thread - it comes out .701 (11/16) x 10, NOT
3/4 x 16 as mentioned in the instruction book. Is there any way to use this
chuck?

If you can, return the chuck. Most quality chucks now come with interchangeable inserts. If you cannot return it, you have two choices you can either throw it away and get a name brand chuck or you can have a machine shop make you an adapter. The second is cheaper, the first is the better choice.
