bollinger is thinking about a four door model of their electric truck

if not mentioned already

still no firm price but it will be high and at or above top tier pickups

but all truck makers benefit from the chicken tax tariff which has
kept truck prices artificially high for a long time since imports get
a big tariff slapped on that makes it hard to compete

How about a truck that comes like an Ikea flat pack?

But can you get it back into the box if you want to return it? ;-)

More palatable, an electric hybrid pick up truck from Workhorse.
Apparently has a range of 500 miles.

I was wondering when someone would do that. The electric motor would
seem to be ideal for a towing application, as they can produce gobs of
torque at low speeds.

It's interesting that they took the series hybrid approach. That means
the electric motor is always what makes that thing go, unlike the Prius
where the two power systems share the load. It'd be interesting to see
how the two systems compare.

Yeah a lot like the diesel electric trains. The truck certainly has the
torque and HP.
