Liquid weld recommendations
Fixing the grill and needed to grind off a couple of badly rusted screws. Looking for recommendations for 2 part epoxy that can withstand grill temps up to 600.

Grinder off the heads. Remainder still fills the holes. I really don't want to drill them out.

JB-Weld Highheat is rated at 400 degrees continuous and up to 550 degrees intermittently. If you ground off screws, the first thing you should attempt to do is replace it a SS screw or maybe drill it out and put in a nut & bolt or, maybe, a stainless steel Pop rivet? I would really worry, depending upon where the repair is made, about failure during use and the fire hazard or just trying to implement the famous (in infamous) "3 Second Rule" when those nice steaks are on the ground. ;-) |

BLUE MAGIC quick steel extreme high temperature metal repair withstands temperatures up to 2400 degrees Fahrenheit, 1300 degrees Celsius, sets in five minutes, steel hard in 15 minutes, full cure in one hour. It can be drilled, tapped, file, machined, sanded and painted. Withstands direct flame, welds holes and cracks in iron and steel. http://www.autozone.com/sealants-glu...ual/515553_0_0 |

I would suggest drilling out the rest and replacing with screws but if you're adamant on epoxy, the Blue Magic suggested by JW is a good option. I've used it with good results but not with high temperatures you seek. |

Most others are 300 to 400 deg. There is one product made to go to 600 degrees though, made by Cotronics. https://measuretech.com.au/high-temp...ure-epoxy.html Problem solved. Glad I could help. |
