Give it away and get as many people to hit on it as possible and collect the ad money. I get my direct deposits from youtube, too. Amen, Producing a video does not mean that the video is demonstrating the best way, correct way, or accepted way to do something. The vast majority of the woodworking videos are more of a documentary of the person learning by trial and error. I have not seen one in the last several years that did not have amateur mistakes. The funniest ones are where the person is not quite comfortable with applying glue. How much should I use, well if I have 50% squeeze out that should be plenty. Hint, the glue expense should not be a major part of the cost of the project. And my all time favorite, Brad what's his name that insisted on calling a SCMS a RAS. Oh and then there was the one, Ultimate Workshop IIRC, The guy saw his mistake in cutting a dado when the guard prevented him from finishing the cut. He and the audience got to witness that one as he was "teaching" how to do that procedure. |
