Yeah, that guy is pretty sick. I stole a couple of his mobile base
ideas, a while back.
I was surprised when *he* subscribed to *my* youtube channel. :-)

Thanks for sharing that link. Very cool project with some pretty clever
problem solving.

I wish this was in English, the Finnish translators don't do a very good
job.

This guy has some good stuff, I particularly like this:

You need the 'spinach' translator.

lousy on other languages, but, ss Popeye says,
"its good to the Finnish!"

Unfortunately most finns doing woodworking are over 50 and don't speak
english at all (German language was more popular than English then
and many don't speak foreign languages at all, this Pekka is evidently
at least able to read English [most finns are better with writen English
than spoken]). Automatic translators don't
(and can't, IMO) work with our language due to several reasons:

1) we use suffixes instead of prepositions.

2) the body of a word can change with suffixes

3) no future tense

4) lots of compound nouns

This same guy has made his own table saw/sanding machine and a sharpening machine.
Tretty impressive, I think.

My mother's family spoke Finnish. They used it as code so the kids
couldn't listen in on their "adult-talk" (much more permanent than s-p-
e-l-l-i-n-g). She was the last of the family and none of the
grandchildren spoke it, by design, so that was the end of it.

It was Ukrainian in our family. We (kids) understood it well, having grown
up around it, but none of us ever spoke it well - except for the "cool"
phrases...
