Default Roy Had A Great Show Today

One of his more interesting ones, far as I'm concerned. Had a goy
on that makes reproduction carved boxes. Missed the first few minutes,
so not sure where the guy is from, perhaps Williamsburg. Nice boxes.
He said he can make one in a day. Interesting too, he said of several
thousance boxes he's seen, only very few were dovetailed, the ones he
was making had rabbit joings (rabbet?) I especially lied the hingses,
remembering how some of you go on about putting hinges on. LMAO These
were something like two linked cotter pins, hole drilld thru the box,
one cotter pin pushed thru, the ends ben over, and pounded in to place.
Same with the top. That's the way they would have done it Mayflower and
earlier era. He did the carving quickly too. Nice looking box, and
very interesting. I think I'll have to try to meet him one day.
