Amazing Carver
Found this amazing carver on deviantart.com (as in deviating
from the norm and not as in pervert). He has a site, in Russian. I didn't think there were any carvers that could do this quality of work anymore. WRONG! http://www.firsanov.ru/ here's some more http://mfirsanov.deviantart.com/ Even if you're not a carver this man's work is well worth an hour of your time exploring. Truly amazing. charlie b |

Woodworkers should never deviate from the Norm. Therefore "shoot a
couple of brads" into every part of every project just to be sure you are in compliance. This guy is unbelivable, thanks for the link. Everybody take 15 minutes out of your day to check this guy out Fifteen minute - HELL! "Spend" at least an hour. If you want to translate the pages into english - albeit a clunky translation sometimes, copy the URL of the Russian site and paste it into the "Translate a Web page" box on this page http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr The text makes the pieces even more fascinating. And while you're looking at each piece, look with your soul not just your eyes. To have the skill to make these works is amazing. To have the soul to conceive them - astounding. charlie b |
