Is a DA (Dual Action) sander the same as s oribital sander?

I am looking for a sander to polish some corian and i came across some
DA sanders that says "great for bodywork." I was not sure if that
ment ripping off old paint or it is similar to obital in that it will
not leave scratch marks

Speaking of which, can any recommend a quality ROS and perhaps indicate
what a guy can expect to pay?

Porter Cable - about $79 at the Borg. Variable speed.

I paid $39 for my Porter Cable 333 ROS. It was a refurb. Check out
www.toolking.com. New I think they push sixty bucks or so. This one is NOT
variable speed. I like it, but be advised that the PC's use the 5 hole
disks. Just about everyone else went with 8 holes. I've not had any trouble
finding disks for it. Just a caveat.

The Porter Cable models 7335, 7336, 97355, or 97366 Sanders. I have had one
since 1988.
Very aggressive well coupled with the same brand model 330 Speed-Bloc. I
have had that one since 1988 also.

I have a Porter-Cable 333VS and am very happy with it. I got mine from
International Tool (http://www.internationaltool.com/pcrosanders.htm#333VS)
and paid about $83.00.
