About InfraRed Heaters
Hey guys,
I wish to have an On-line Hot Air flushing system inside the Condensor Coil (heat Exchanger) coils of a Direct Cool Refrigerator. Kindly note that the Heat exchanger coils which are generally placed at the rear of a Direct Cool referigerator are designed in such a way to dissipate the heat energy as quickly as possible. I wish to flush hot air inside the Condensor coils so as to remove the moisture, CO2 and any contamination in them. Material of condensor coil = St Steel, Size = 1.25 mtr x 0.8 mtr Kindly sugggest some good equipemnt. may be Infrared heaters are suited good for this application. thanks anky_sik |
About InfraRed Heaters
It's common practice in the HVAC trade to blow condensor coils out with
filtered air to clean out loose debris, etc., and then remove the air, moisture, CO2, etc. with a good vacuum pump. With a 29.5 + inch or better vacuum level at a 70 deg F temperature the moisture will turn to vapor and it will be pumped out. Sometimes, if they want it even better than that, they perform a second step which involves adding a sweep charge of refrigerant gas of the type that will eventually be used in the system, and then pumping it out to the same vacuum level. This sweep charge is so dry that it scavenges even a slight trace of remaining moisture so it can be removed. You shouldn't need any heating equipment unless the temperature is significantly colder than 70 deg. F. but you will need a good vacuum pump. -- Charley "Anky" wrote in message ups.com...
