Ralph, Have you kept any stats about size vs boiling time for Madrona? I
love to turn this wet and boil the semi-finished product. A rough 2"thick
bowl gets about an hour-ish. Never really did pre turnd stock. Thoughts?

I use the rule of thumb of an hour an inch plus. I learned this basic
(for Madrone) from Dave Schweitzer (http://www.d-waytools.com/)

Dave does a lot of Madrone (http://www.d-waytools.com/shop.html, the top
photo is a load of Madrone)

If you aren't a member of the local club, drop by the 7th Day Adventist
school on Bremerton the last Wed of the month and talk to folk, Dave is
usually there
