Default Question out to the group about wood turning

I was wondering how a person turns an oval bowl. I see some may warp them
after the fact...
I have seen jigs that move to a double kind of axis. Is this how it is
done?

Default Question out to the group about wood turning

Big lathe and hand carved to a jig, if desired. Outside first and then
inside with a caliper to standardize thickness and avoid cut-through.

Same answer as before.. you don't turn oval bowls.. You turn round
bowls, unless your lathe is really whacked..
