After returning to woodworking about 7 years ago after woodshop in
high school in the 70's, and lurking in rec.woodworking for a few years, here's a picture of 2 rocking chairs I've made. The country rocker in white oak about I made about 5 years ago, and the Maloof style in purpleheart I just finished. Joe - aka Peg Leg |

Although the maker is always the worst critic - I see that I've learned to match wood better. The country rocker is all white oak, but the seat was made from two different boards, and when the tung oil went on, they colored different. I was not happy about that, but life is a learning curve!
