You really got a mane and tail on that thing. What did you use?

Mane and tail mde from doll hair. Wife sewed bias tape on it and it
is glued into a grove along neck. Tail is stuck in hole I drilled and
plugged with glue and a piece of dowell rod.
Saddle is an old suede leather vest I outgrew. We took it apart
cut and resewed it back together. Three snaps on the bottom and the
saddle comes off. Halter is made of strips from the vest cut and
sew around the rings. One snap at top and and it comes off.
No buckles or any sharp edges for a child to get hurt on.
