New projects - ring box plan - 1 attachment
Ring box was made from 1 5/8"mahogany. Veneer was glued on and clamped,
allowed to dry over night. Arc was marked and cut on bandsaw. Top was then cut off on band saw - top is 1/2" thick. Hinges were attached then box was sanded on belt sander to get final shape. Hinges were removed, much sanding was done, tung oil applied. Waiting to do poly. -- sm@ug dot ichorfang at gmail dot com |
