Very nice.

How handy is it to have to go into a drawer when you need a turning tool?

Can you do it easily while turning?

Thanks Lee. I read about woodworkers putting sand in their lathe stands
and wonder why they don't just build a nice cabinet for the thing. No
sand needed:-)

Very handy. The tools I'm using always end up stuck between the lathe
and the bench anyway. I think my large roughing gouge is in the picture
I sent. My larger tools which I got after building the bench are in
my workbench across the room, thats why the roughing gouge is not put
away:-)

Can you do it easily while turning?

Sure, I just stick the tool I'm done with between the lathe and bench,
open the drawer and get the new tool? Usually end up with about 5-6
tools out, or more. When I clean up I put them away.

My method as well. Be sure and hide the sharp edges in the shavings where
you can cut yourself rummaging....

Something you gotta do----at least once a year.
