Default a puzzler

this one has a speed control

cannot figure this one out just by looking at it

there is a speed control wheel but there is a lever with a black
ball on the end in this photo

That's the forward-off-reverse switch.

Ball is on/off. Crank is to move motor and change belt/speed adjust.
