My brain is having trouble with the pen blanks being anywhere near
that lathe.

Beautiful machine. If he knocks off two zeros, I might be able to
afford the shipping.

Judging by all the equipment, in as-new condition, and vast number of
accessories, he is an amateur and compulsive tool and jig buyer. The
lathe is an older model of one that would now cost close to CAN$6k.

additionally they are probably afraid of it
additionally they have a lot of money to throw around
