What's lost in the whole discussion here is:

Who corked Sammy's bat, what did they use for a
"cork", and how exactly did they **** up?


I would like to know how it was done as well.
The cork was right above the handle.
Was it put in from the top or bottom?
How big a piece?
Is it easy to cork a bat?
Doesn't it make it weaker?


Usually they use a painted bat so disguising it won't
be as much of a problem:
