*OT* New use for CA glue.
Putting Vaseline on a tick to smother it - skin breather - is an old folk
method. A touch of acetone on a q-tip aggravates 'em enough to let go, too, though I have heard that they sort of vomit reflexively as they expire. "Adrien" wrote in message om... Hi Martin, I don't know if you've ever tried to remove a deer tick. They're about 1mm long and GLUE their jaws to your skin. Using tweezers (or worse yet, a hemostat) only serves to inject the contents into your skin. |
